A kinky and tranny Saturday
13 November 2010
San Francisco
I had planned for a lazy Saturday but it was going to be my version of “sleepless in Seattle” in SF. Tranny and kinky events filled my calendar faster than a surfer can mount a surfboard. First stop for the day, lunch and my first SOJ munch. Will I have the stomach to eat and drink mead with total strangers in this kinky meet? When Sunny smiled on the private deck of the Thirsty Bear, I was beguiled. I was at home with the jovial bunch and counted myself fortunate to be in likes of Sunny, Charles, “Terse”, Mitch, Jay and the shy ones. We compare and exchanged notes. It was interesting to find similar challenges and issues.
I popped in Wicked Grounds to an event called SCREWUP: BDSM for trans and queers (http://www.screwup.info/). The title said it all and my momma told me to keep quiet if I can’t say anything nice.
A few face pics in the cage and it was time to hightail out of the cafe for more of the SF life spice. I stopped by the Rickshaw Stop, a suppossedly great local lesbian watering hole. Damn, it’s gate was wedged tighter than a tampon in ovulating season. No reason to panic as this had not turned out to be the “promised” good time for my guest from Tokyo.
It was back to Marlena’s where one can count on no cover charge, quality drinks and good company or a nice Italian restaurant by the Marina.
